Dr Rousou’s research interests focus in the field of Community – Family Nursing and Health Promotion and specifically in Vulnerable Population Groups. Her research work focuses on assessing the health status of single mothers, especially the detection of psychosomatic problems and depression and the role of social support. At the same time, her research extends to vulnerable population groups and transcultural nursing, as she is involved as a research assistant in the Erasmus + programs (IENE 4, IENE 5, IENE 6).v In addition, she participated as a research assistant in the Erasmus + JOBIS program dealing with a training program for burnout in healthcare professionals. Additionally, she is an MC member two COST actions (COST Action IS1206 – Femicide Across Europe and COST Action CA15208 – RANCARE).
