ETNA Executive Committee
Function
The function of the ETNA Committee is to manage the Association, support its development and ensure it has appropriate publicity.
It is made up of a small number of officers and country representatives. The presence of 50% of officers plus an additional country representative is considered a quorum.
Officers will serve for a period of 5 years. At the end of this period, nominations will be called for and elections will be held using a democratic process. Officers may be re-elected for a second period of office.
The officers of the Committee are the President, the Honorary Vice-President, the Vice-President, the Secretary, the Treasurer, Events Director and the Digital Communications & Marketing Director. The roles of each are as follows:
President
- Oversees all activities of ETNA
- Delegates actions and activities to appropriate committee members
- Serves as Chair to the Committee
- Leads the promotion of the association through relevant publicity means
- Initiates fund-raising activities
Vice-President
- Performs the duties of the President in her absence
- Serves as the chair of the committee as needed
- Prepares the annual report
- Assists in the planning of the Associations’ activities
Secretary
- Draws up meeting agendas for approval by the President
- Records and writes the Minutes of committee meetings
- Circulates Agendas and Minutes to the Committee and the membership as appropriate
- Co-ordinates issues related to membership including recruitment
- Maintains register of membership
- Stores and circulates protocols
- Assists in the preparation of the Annual report
Treasurer
- Has responsibility for the Associations funds
- Keeps financial records
- Prepares the annual financial report
- Co-ordinates activities related to fund raising
All members of the committee have the responsibility for raising the profile of the association by publicising its activities wherever appropriate.
Events Director
- Has responsibility for supporting the host country in organising the conference
- Acts as a lead for all ETNA activities and events
- Supports the ETNA Executive Committee in all functions and communications

Marketing & Communications Director
- Responsible for maintaining the website
- Develops the ETNA identity and acts as a brand ambassador
- Creates all digital and branding material inline with brand guidelines
- Develops marketing campaigns and produces relevant material
