Dear ETNA members,
I am sending warm greetings to all those who visit and use the ETNA website.
ETNA, the European Transcultural Nursing Association, is gradually establishing itself as a friendly organisation which is reaching out to all health professionals who wish to be part of a world where human rights, justice, compassion and cultural competence underpins the health care given to all who need it.
I invite you to help us enrich this website by sending suggestions and contributions to be added to the website. We want the website to be a dynamic site which does not only engage its visitors and users, but it empowers them to be active partners determined to enhance their cultural awareness, knowledge, sensitivity and competence and to be compassionate to their clients and colleagues.
Both myself and the ETNA committee welcome your feedback regarding the quality and accuracy of the content, and the layout. We have tried to make it easy to navigate, but have we succeeded? We have included a number of sections which – with your help- will be populated with useful information, tools, theories and research relevant to practice. Are there other sections you wish to see?
I hope you will find the website inspiring and that you will recommend it to your friends and colleagues. Enjoy!
